Planning

In order to plan the project as a whole and to develop a mechanism for monitoring and evaluation, the KSinR team used a number of approaches, both traditional and new and innovative, to develop the project goal, objectives, activities and outputs as well as directions for achieving impact and changes in partners and relationship necessary for achieving the project aims:

Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E)

Monitoring and Evaluation is one of the key components for better understanding and capturing valuable knowledge, experiences and lessons from the KsinR project as well as the 6 Pilot Projects.

The KSinR project is using the Impact Pathways approach as the main methodology for its M&E. This includes:

  • Developing Impact Pathways at beginning of the Project and Pilots
  • Monitoring and Evaluation at mid-point of Project and Pilots, involving:
  1. Reports
  2. Discussions (virtual)
  3. Projects visits to do review of Project with implementing team, interviews with various actors involved, and observations of project activities.
  • Evaluation activity at end of Project and Pilot projects
